Although I've only been here one month my apartment meets my needs. I have a renovated unit with new carpet, new cabinets, and new microwave. I can hear some road noise but it is generally quiet which was a must for me as I leave the windows open all the time. With a very efficient shuttle to the Metro (I prefer the short five block walk) and weekend shuttle to shopping I don't know how it could be easier. I moved here without a car and I don't plan on getting one. On site convenience store and dry cleaners make this a really decent place to live. Many of the others in this price range were real dumps or VERY far from the Metro.
