A very good choice

I've been living at Oakwood Falls Church for about 6 months. When I was looking for an apartment I was looking for something close to DC, access to the metro, someplace safe, and someplace affordable! Oakwood met all of these requirements. The apartment complex grounds are well kept, and the pool/tennis courts/volleyball courts are in amazing shape during the summer. The apartments themselves are very quiet and quite nice. Anytime we've had any maintenance requests they are handled the day the request was made, and normally within a few hours of the request.
There are only two problems we've found with Oakwood. The heating/cooling in our apartment is not based on a thermostat. It is either On or Off, High or Low. This is a problem in the winter because if we leave the heat on during the day it is a Sauna when we return, and if we leave it off it is freezing. The other problem, which is only a problem if you're picky, is the appliances. We do not have one of the newer renovated apartments, so I can't speak for them, but our apartments have appliances that were made in the early 80's. The microwave does not have buttons, but dials. It's almost funny!
