We stayed in Oakwood Falls Church in 2000 for around 8 months, and again in 2003 for around 7 months. We saw a drastic decline in the interim. There were more unsavory renters, blasting music, throwing beer cans off their balcony, using profanity; furniture was junky; maintenance was far less reliable; and the level of service seemed to vary greatly. And, of course, it cost such a fortune it can hardly be believed. We're not going back (we're Foreign Service). Upsides: good schools, access to Metro & FSI.

I am currently living at this property May 2006 and it has undergone a complete renovation and has a new Manager. Cannot speak of what was going on in 2003 but today this is a great place to live.
