Oakwood - Falls Church formerly Oakwood Apartments

I moved into Oakwood this summer and I will probably stay here for a year then move out.
The place is okay but if you dont have kids then this place is not for you.
It's like living in a summer camp.Families with their loud kids are everywhere not to mention their pets.
You can be woken up early in the morning by kids bouncing a basketball on the court, kids screaming or crying or noisey maintenance work.
Then we have the noise from the pool.
The turnover here is high so you will never see or get to know any neighbours and some weeksn they have young interns staying here which results in these kids being loud on the balconies and getting sick on the lawn-or taking over the hot tub.
Plus if you live in Building C-you overlook a graveyard.
It has a real hotel/compound feel to it which i wonder what the winter will be like when the 'summer camp' closes down.

hello i am going to move into the oakwood - in a one year contract studio lease and i would appreciate comments from you or others. what would be a good building to live in and what side should it face? i saw the cemetary which they did not show me when i was given a tour. how is the carpet and how promptly do they assist you with repairs? thank you.
