The management makes this place suck. The manager is incredibly rude & everyone else in the office (except the --------American girl that works weekends) could care less about you. It amazes me the polarity of treatment I received by the management before I signed my lease versus after.
And I haven't been able to use part of my apartment for 5 months due to construction they didn't tell me about when I signed the lease. And they refuse to comp me for it.

I have to say that the above really confuses me. I enjoy living in Roosevelt towers and one of the big reasons is the management has never been anything but friendly and nice and accomodating. I was most impressed when I once locked myself out in the wee hours of the morning (4 am-ish) and the manager was on call and had to wake up and let me in. She was more concerned with the way the emergency people had messed up the call then with the fact that she had to wake up in the middle of the night. That does not sound like "couldn't care less". I have been frustrated with the exterior construction and am grateful they have yet to begin construction on my balcony, on the other hand, after living with the frustrantions of the previous construction on the interior common areas, the results made for a much nicer place to live and my rent only went up about $25/month afterward (I don't think that had to do some much with improvements as normal rent increases). On the otherhand, my balcony was one big reason I chose Roosevelt Towers over a cheaper location close by, and I will be upset I lose my balcony for months with no temporary decrease in my rent to compensate. |
