As a resident at Skyline, I agree with all the problems cited. I would also like to add the following: Instead of heat, we're getting cold air; Water is backing up in the sinks/tub; Management is tearing out the carpets because they do not have the money to replace the old (so be prepared to hear the upstairs neighbors' kids running, bouncing balls, screaming, etc.); and now, we have gangs intimidating you in the halls.

We could stand it no longer and gave our Notice to Vacate.

The Accountant told us they are selling the property and we think it is a good idea since current management doesn't seem to be able to do the job.

It's too bad this system doesn't permit us to give a zero rating. A ZERO RATING is more appropriate for this property at this time.

What do you expect? Let's be clear, this place is a "mecca" for Anti American Infidels. The whole ghetto area is surveyed by authorities by way of Helicopter. The whole god forsaken building is a dump that is suitable for certain anti American types. One can hope and pray that most of these philistines will leave the USA and return to the land of barbarism from which they came.

You're right. Unfortunately, all the problems cited are TRUE. We agree. Management's decision to sell the property can only be an improvement. They're doing such a bad management job that nothing works. They're dropping rent amounts to get anyone. (The person next door came in with a monthly rent of $900/month - way below the listed price.) So, all the riffraff are moving in. We, too, are MOVING OUT!

Thanx to everyone who responded, actually I am sort of surprised of getting an answer, but I certainly appreciate it. Right now I am looking into other options, I would also take any recommendations. I went there again today, and all of you are right, no security swhatsoever, 'cause I got in without any problems. Also, the basement is sort of dirty and smells funny. Does anyone know of an other good building where I can find a studio? Good luck to us all finding good housing!
