My experience

1) Positives: The interior of my 2 bedroom, 2 bath was very appealing. Ample square footage (1400 ) and lots of closet space. The 30 ft. balcony was nice. The kitchen was updated with new cabinets. My guests frequently commented the place was nice and huge.
- The apartment management seemed to be nice and professional on most occasions with exception to the property manager taking messages though not returning phone calls.
- The laundry rooms are very convenient.
However, life exists outside of the apartment.
2) Negatives: Children and teenagers run rampant. Quite frequently, you ll discover children holding/stalling elevators and literally knocking you over simply to chase each other. Parental supervision is the issue here.
- Uncleanly premises. There is a very friendly cleaning staff in existence here. However, it appears as if they only clean once a day. With over 1,000 residents, cleaning the halls once a day doesn t really cut it. Trash continuously overflows in the chute, receptacles, across the complex along with the garage floors. Also, the carpeted hallways have a rather unpleasant odor.
- Parking. My goodness. Free guest parking passes are valid for 3 hours in the dirt and gravel parking lot. Time after 3 hours will run you $5. This can be a pricey issue for those who have guests on a regular occasion. Towing is in full effect here. My sympathies go out to the young lady I witnessed moving items from her apartment down the elevator box by box only to discover that her car parked just outside the elevator (packed with boxes), was towed in a matter of minutes. This was at about mid-night.
- Noise. Take this with a grain of salt, if you will. I could hear my upstairs neighbors using the restroom at any given time during the day. The key words here are hear using the restroom
- Electricity. Not sure how this works but I noticed my power bill to be unusually high during the winter even when I had been out of town for significant periods of time. This lead me to believe that I was not being billed for the electricity I used individually.
- Service Issues. I saved every sheet of paper placed under my door detailing the need to enter my apartment for service. In one year s time, my apartment has been entered approximately 55 times for general building service issues. I think that s a bit excessive. Also, if you accidentally lock your key inside your apartment, be prepared to pay a $50 service fee to have someone from management to open your door for you.
- Last, but certainly not least, I should have taken pictures of the apartment upon moving in. When I vacated, I was charged for damages to the apartment that were present prior to my moving in.
Take of this what you will. This is merely my account.

When you lock yourself out,so long as it's not locked out by the dead bolt, you can , without too much difficulty, slide a plastic card (eg. the ones they give you at Giant or CVS) and between the door and the door , and pop it open. Try it with somebody inside the room for practice. It took me about five minutes the first time. Anyway, you all can definitely expect some serious spikes in electricity very soon , given the A/C and the increase in elec. by VEPCO.

I agree with this review 100%. With regards to parking..you are only allowed 1 spot free ( even tho there are two people on the lease ) and pay $65 for the 2nd spot... I will be moving in July and can't wait to get out of this rat hole....There is NO security..this place gets more visitors than a hotel does...they don't check who's coming and going...totally unsecure place...The place should be razed..rebuilt...and not allow kids to move here...too damn many of them running rampant throught out the building...And yes...we do have mice.....

Speaking of parking, about 30 cars were vandalized 2 weeks ago. Ask them about that. Check how 'secure' and 'luxurious' this place is before signing up.
