I've been meaning to get on here for a while to write a review but I've been caught up with school and such. I moved in during early august. I have not had any problems as of yet. I don't have a pest or rodent problem. I live in the South Tower. I've read some of the reviews on here and some people are just disgruntled by some of the strangest things (in my opinion).

For instance, people have complained about the smell of the basement. Honestly, it's a basement. Is it supposed to smell like roses' The alternative is walking on the outside from the bldg to the garage. That is my personal preference simply because I think it's a faster walk anyways...

As far as noise, the kids are back in school and on my particular floor it hasn't been too much of a problem. I'm not going to say I'm home ALL day but I'm home a good portion of it and when I have reading and such to do I don't have to worry about my neighbors. Some may say I'm lucky, oh well. I'm happy.

I've never had a problem parking. However, because of the parking situation at my university, it's easier for me to commute to school. There is a metro near by that I can park at or there are about 3 or 4 different buses I can catch to the train. I really like the convenience of this area.

I will say, the valet gets on my nerves when I'm waiting on packages because she's closed from like 12-4 everyday. That kind of gets annoying but other than that, I haven't had any problems. Well, one of the cable outlets in my apt doesn't work and I'm sure i could get it fixed, but honestly it doesn't bother me.

I will say that I haven't had any problem with the management. I deal with several of the leasing agents on a first name basis. But I'm also outspoken, so if I have a serious problem, I'm not going to take anyone's crap.

While the cost of living here is much higher than I am used to (I am from the South), I would definitely say that I am getting my money's worth. Several of my friends live on campus in a studio that is half the size of mine and a couple hundred dollars more...

Overall, considering this is my first apartment, I'm happy. One last note, I apartment shopped at more than 10 other places and this was by far the best deal for this area!

The basement smelled awful (it would make you vomit) before you moved in because there were dead rats in the ceiling. Its taken months (years??) to get it the way it has since you've moved in.

Mice infected the place. The south tower is infected, that is a fact that they acepted, didn't you get any notes from the managment? Mice are running all over the place, day and night. Is a serious problem.

yea i got the note but i personally haven't seen any. and i got (from the notes) that it's a problem, but i haven't seen any on my floor. and like i said. i don't walk through the basement. i did once and it took forever.

The person obviously has only lived @ Skyline for a few months. I seriously doubt that the new resident will feel the same way as he/she does now after living there for a year or more.

I have never seen a mouse or a rate anywhere in the place. I mean I know there is some problem, and I know they are remodeling which may help the smell. But I've never seen anything and I'm in an our all day long. When I first moved here I started reading the reviews and pictured myself walking around with mice or rats running all over me.
