Had to call Health Dept!

After the 4th time our apartment had sewage flooding we had to call the Health Dept to get anything fixed. Luckily we were already out of our lease b/c our neighbors were so loud and the floors so thin we heard every step they and their loud dog made. We had to complain about the noise for 8 months before they finally made an offer to help us out. Once the health dept came out they found gang signs in the storage area beside our apt. (which we had asked to have locked but 11 months later was still open). At least the maintenance was on top of everything and friendly. However, the office staff stayed away whenever we really needed their help- it took over 6 hours for anyone to even look at the sewage damage which over 2 inches deep. Thank god they made us get renter's insurance before we moved in- I understand why now.
