My wife and I lived at Breezewood for two years with our Golden Retriever. We had a great experience there with friendly office staff and a rapid response maintenance team. The maintenance team at Breezewood has been awarded the maintenance team of the year awards for area apartment complexes. We felt very safe living there and it was a great community if you have a pet or family. We had our first child there and spent a little less than a year there with our 1st child. There were some roudy neighbors from time to time but they seemed to come and go fairly quickly. Breezewood very much wants to be a pet and family friendly environment. The pool and fitness room were readily accessible and after trouble with nearby neighborhood kids coming to swim in the pool who didn't live in the apartment complex, Breezewood took the steps necessary to eliminate this problem and make sure the pool was only used by tenants and their guests. Breezewood Apartments has free DVD rentals for tenants and kept a decent supply of newer movies. Packages delivered by UPS/FED Ex would be left at the clubhouse rather than outside your front door so that it would not be stolen or damaged. Parking was monitored so that non-tenants would be towed if they parked in tenant spots, which clearly marked. They have one tennis court that is well maintained and tore up an extra un-used tennis court, replaced it with mulch and plan on upgrading their playground with bigger and better playground equipment for children. They also plan on taking out the old playground equipment and building a picnic area with outdoor grills. Overall, a well maintained and landscaped facility that is safe with friendly staff. Only minor downside were not all residents were responsible with picking up after their pets (which was addressed by Breezewood management). Of course there was a police car outside buildings heere and there for what appeared to be minor disputes, but you will probably find that at most apartment complexes here and there. Other positive things to note, building was power washed including decks cleaned on a yearly basis, exterminator was available every week to respond if there were any insect/ant problems, and parties/gatherings at the clubhouse/pool were planned a few times a year for tenant socialization.
