I lived in Crestview (or Crackview as we called it) from May 2001 through May 2002.

PLUSES:

1. They have gone to permit parking; at the time I lived there it was first come, first serve and first spots were always taken up by visitors.

2. Fairly new, spacious apartments at a decent price. It was great for me being in college, but I wouldn't want to have an apartment here if I could afford something nicer.

NEGATIVES:

1. At the time, management was shady and made false promises. Most of these people are no longer employed at Crestview, but I had problems with on multiple occassions, including lies regarding lease rules, move-in dates, etc. They seem to play favorites with who they give apartments to, so if you want one BE NICE!

2. We always had ants in our dishwasher despite an impeccably clean kitchen. Maintenance did help us out by putting down bait, but this had to be done over 10 times and problem never went away.

3. Bathroom fan of apartment below vibrated my entire master bedroom and woke me up every morning at 6 AM. Not horrible until it's accidentally left on hours at a time.

4. Bad location; across from high crime Bragg Hill area. Difficult to turn left onto Fall Hill during rush hour. Also, painstakingly slow going home during rush hour up fall hill from Route 1.
