This is our first time living in an apartment, and it seems to be OK. The noise level drives me crazy sometimes, usually just on the weekends...but you can't actually hear people walking around in their apartments which is good. OH, and the screaming children at the pool all day long during the summer isn't so great, but I'm sure that's anywhere.
The location is AWESOME...you can't go wrong being 2 minutes from Central Park and 2 minutes from downtown.
The actual apartments themselves are pretty impresive. I love the laundry room in the 2 bedroom. Plus, they put in brand new carpet and paint before we moved in, which was very nice. The walk in closet in the master bedroom is HUGE, and the bathrooms are a good size.
The maintenance people are awesome. They are so friendly and they seem like they care about and enjoy their job.
The neighborhoods down the street are definately not so great...sometimes the corner 7-11 looks like straight up gang territory, but whatever, I just go to Sheetz instead.
My only real beef with this apartment complex is the parking. WHY THE HELL AREN'T THEY TOWING ANYONE''' We got new decals a few months ago and I quote one of the office ladies: "This should help with the parking". NOT AT ALL. We got back from a week long vacation and had to park 4 buildings down. People who don't live here park in the "decal only" parking spots but nobody ever gets towed so what's the point in having decals''
