I live here now. I am a mother of 2 children and I can honestly say that I would be out if I had a house right now. I pay my rent on time every month and I have never had a complaint about myself or my 6 year old. I had a difficult time when I first moved in because the management was so unorganized. I have lived here for almost 4 years and I have seen some things I wish I did not.
-Children-
Children run rampant regardless of age, they are never supervised by their parents. I have had my vehicle damaged because of the parents lack of supervision-(large rock thrown at my car).
When they wait for the bus there are only a handful of them who's parents wait out with them, the rest are just running around in the road and shoving eachother in front of vehicles trying to get in the front gate.
-Plowing-
The management never has someone plow or take care of the ice during the winter. I actually work with a man who will have to walk with a cane for the rest of his life due to a serious injury he received when he fell in the parking lot. My husband broke 2 ribs in the parking lot one year when he fell on the ice.
-Maintainance-
The dog feces was bad for a while, but is not so bad anymore. There are so many spiders outside of the buildings that I am scared to walk through my door somedays for fear that they will fall on me. It really nothing short of an infestation.
-Rules-
The rules are very strict about loitering(for good reason, so many chilren unsupervised) that now the children can not even write on the sidewalk with chalk.
-Management-
I have seen them come and go. I get a call months after my recertification every year that I have forgotten to sign something(recertify in July and get a call in November)- VERY unorganized. They are rude and unprofessional. I have gotten other tenants late notices for water, a neighbor of mine received another tenants eviction notice. These are not hidden, just stuck to your door where everyone can see. I have never even paid a water bill late.
-Pool-
Small and never opened. When it is opened, there are children there using profanity in front of all the small children. I went 2 times last year. I opted to pay for the local county public pool and paid for it too.
-Size-
Great size, very nice.

-Gated Community(HA)-
The gate is a long peice of spray painted plywood that is usually broken and nailed in the middle to another broken peice of plywood. The reason being, because the wood is so flimsy that it gets broken on a daily basis, and if not then someone just breaks the key pad. I am not sure if they think that they are keeping the plight out, because all of the plight lives inside the gate. The further back youn live the worse the people are. Teenage kids loitering all over the place.

I know MANY people who live in the complex and they all say the same things. There have been shootings and there are a lot of drugs in the complex. Management can try to deny it, but it is know throughout the community(People upstairs smoke marijuana on a regular basis). If I tell someone I live in England Run North, they say "Oh my god, you do!!" even people who do not live here know how it is.
Please reconsider if you can, I don't even want my child to play outside because of the other people who live in the aprtments.

I couldn't agree with her more. My husband and I were victims of a rock throwing about a couple of months ago. Being that my husband is a Marine, he caught the kid and the Sheriff came and got him. As far as being strict about loitering, I disagree. Just the other night when I came home (midnight), kids were hanging out. Dog feces is still a problem and the grounds are awful! The trash area is disgusting because people don't know how to put their trash were it belong...in the dumpster! I hate the management. They are NOT responsive at all. We've had a problem with our refrigerator for the past six months and they have yet to come and fix it. I would tell anyone who comes to look out here keep driving by...you definitely get what you pay for.
