Please think twice before you decide to move out here. Don't even make this place an option. My husband and I have only been out here for about 7 months and we HATE it. Both management and the employees are liers. Our car has been vandalized not once but TWICE in the past 2 months we have been here. When asked about the issue by Base Housing they lied and said we never told them about anything! We took the car down there the second time the car was vandalized the very same morning and brought the employee out there to look at it! Nothing ever gets fixed. We have to keep calling them to fix things with our apt. Right now we have a leaking toilet that has been that way for a good month now and because of it we have mold growing behind the toilet. Someone's motorcycle just recently got stolen. People have been killed out here. If you want to live in an environment where there are drugs, murder, theft and vandalism this is the place for you. Don't let the cheap rent entice you like we did. You will regret it! If you don't believe me go to the VA Better Business Bureau at http://www.richmond.bbb.org/companyreport.html and let this site speak for itself. Please let the fake smiles and so called gated (which is a piece of plywood that always gets knocked down) community.
