I just applied to England Run North. I don't know what the other reviews were talking about, but they told me the income requirements upfront. The holding fee was low and they are pretty flexible in regards to credit requirements and the security deposit amount. Their summer specials make the rent extremely reasonable even for Fredericksburg. The apartments looked clean and quiet. Washers and dryers are no longer rented, they are already installed in the apartment and included in the price of the rent. Also included is a personal security system for your apartment. They are very spacious with walk in closets in both bedrooms. I will be moving in in the next month and feel that it will be a nice complex to live in.

You really should have waited to submit your review. Everything was lovely back when I moved in, too. The girls in the office know just what to say and which parts of the neighborhood to show to suck you in. Try getting a response to a maintenance request, or walking to take out your trash without gagging and stepping on broken glass and biohazards everywhere. Hopefully you don't get chased down by one of the pitbulls (which, coincidentally, "aren't allowed" here) on your way to fetch the mail either. Oh, if you're on drugs, though, there's one bonus: the number of dealers in the neighborhood increases monthly. You'll never run dry!

You are so right, the girls in the office do know exactly what to say to suck you in. But, as soon as you are in it is a totally different story. They are rude and know how to lie without lying. You forgot about the towing of the cars, if they have a flat tire, oh yeah, they don't tell you about that. This is NOT the place to live if you want to live a nice normal life. My apartment was surfaced cleaned ONLY!!! My refrigerator took 3 months to be "Fixed", and they never did fix the dishwasher. My stove had easy off residue, there was jelly stuck on the inner side of the refrigerator and pantry shelves. Plus when I started the process to move in, I told them I needed a downstairs because I am disabled and am not supposed to climb stairs -- no problem, until I had signed the papers and they said tuff (you know what) I could have a 2nd or 3rd floor, or go somewhere else, without my deposit. So I was stuck in the apartment and only went out when it is absolutly necessary. When I pointed out all the things that were not done right, it was all out war at that point. They (they being the girls in the office) treated me like I was dirt. A week later my car was towed because of a flat tire. There has been a car outside with a flat tire for over 3 weeks now. No towing of that car. Drugs, you bet, plenty of them. Deals go on all night long into the early morning. Trust me, this is not the place to live unless you have no other chance to move anywhere else.
