I moved in a little over a year ago and will be renewing my lease. I heard the bad word of mouth and thought I would at least give it a shot. I am glad I did. The rent is reasonable and the manager (Stephanie) is pretty reasonable as well. She does goes by the lease like it is the bible though, so you can't really get away with much, but that is both good and bad. She and the staff are respectful and try to be helpful in ways other managers have not in my past experience. They try to help you apply for aid, will call a cab for you or search around for daycare and stuff if you need it, but I was a few days late on rent and was forced to pay the late fee, which sucked. However the no loitering and disturbance stuff in the lease they take seriously. The staff is always out at the bustop and chasing kids off property(huge fight problems with the kids lately) and they keep in touch with the residents by newsletter. They try so hard to keep it clean as does the older maintenance guy, but the biggest propblem is the unsupervised kids and the trash. I see the old guy pick it up, the bus lets out, and its trashed again. Anyway, for the money, its ok. Walls are thin, and the kids are horrible, but if management keeps trying and the rent doesn't skyrocket, I will stay because the apartment is huge!!
