We've lived here for 3 years. When we moved in it wasn't so bad, but things have definitely taken a turn for the worse in the last year. The noise has gotten so bad that we are frequently woken in the early morning, and can rarely have a conversation on our patio in the evening. The stairwells are filthy. Maintenance takes weeks to respond for things like ALL of the faucet knobs shattering or the smoke detectors not working (even though there's a rider on the lease saying they will come in 24 hours for that), and then when they do fix them everything breaks again right away.

We were both offered great jobs out of the area, and now need to break our lease 2 months early. TWO MONTHS, after THREE years, which is about three times longer than anyone else lives here. I understand--we signed a lease, but we have also done the legwork to find several prospective renters to sign a new lease on our apartment. We've done what management can't do--found someone that *wants* to live here--but are they willing to work with us on that' Nope. So we owe them $1600 for two months, plus they will screw us on the deposit--even if we pay all the rent--as an 'early move out' penalty. There are two stains on the ceiling from water dripping from above that will likely be our fault too. Oh, and did I mention how carpets being dirty after 3 years are not normal wear and tear, and all tenants must pay a company specified by Fall Hill $90 to clean the carpets--no DIY machine here!

I would echo what the other person said about the workout room and other amenities being open only during business hours. The best action you can take

You are probally pretty angry regarding the Lease Break Fee. It is understandable, that stinks. I know I had to do the same thing, but, all things considered I myself were there for 3 years and If I am choosing to live somewhere that long, I obviously found something that statisfied me. Pretty Bitter, try talking to the Manager, she tryes so hard to help, at least me she did.
