I would avoid this place if at all possible. The reports describing it as the ghetto are correct. When we first moved in, the office staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. After a few months, they changed the entire management and office staff. Everything went downhill from there. We should have known when we moved in. Just after signing the lease, we started unpacking the truck and the car. I dropped off a box and then went out to my car, only to find one of my neighbors rooting through my trunk (thankfully, there was nothing but the removeable shelves to the bookshelf). We had a pest problem from the beginning. They promised to do something, but never did. (LARGE spiders, silverfish, caterpillar thing) I swear the neighbors were dealing drugs and I was verbally assaulted by one of my neighbors, who started to yell obscenities at me when I took my dog out. I once got locked out of my apartment because my cheap key bent in the cheap lock. I had to wait outside my apartment for hours, hoping a maintenance man would show up. Two months before we left, our hot water heater broke and despite numerous requests, they never fixed it. We were thrilled to move to a new place. Getting our security deposit back was a nightmare. We made sure to do a walk through before moving out and the townhouse was in perfect condition. After 60 days, we still had not received our deposit. We eventually had to go through the office of consumer affairs and the better business bureau to get it back. The office staff often claimed ignorance or blamed it on someone else.
A friend of mine moved in a couple of years ago, just after the shooting that occurred just outside my old townhouse. She said they were cleaning up the place and moved 2 police officers onto my old street. My friend said they are constantly changing the rules, take forever to make repairs, and always has problems with parking.

I fnd it scary that you are just know posting your thoughts after not living here since 2001. There is new management in the office. WOW you must be very bored and not a happy perosn .. How can you rate something or someone if you don't live there anymore and have not sent 2001

secrects33, at the time of the original post, I had just discovered the website. That is the reason for the delay in my posting. I was not "very bored" and I'm quite happy, thank you.
