Everything started off bad. I blew it all off assuming that it was just my anxiety about moving. We called about making the 3 hour round trip drive to sign our lease and they said sure come on down. Would you like to go ahead and move in' I let them know that I wasn't sure I would have to talk to my husband. So we decide yes and pack some stuff in the care make the drive. When we get here and ask about getting the keys they say no. The apt. won't be ready until 4pm. It was 2pm. I said ok. Whatever. So the move-in days comes and we get the keys. We walk into the apartment to find that there are burn marks, stains, and a giant square patch in the middle of the carpet. There was a hole in the closet door in the office, the toilet handle was broken, weather stripping missing from the front door, one of the kitchen cabinets was broken, and there were dish washer pieces laying on the kitchen counter. There were other things but they were small things. This wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't been told less than 12 hours before that we couldn't move in b/c they had to finish the apt. Now 6 months later, the front door is still missing weather stripping, the toilet handle is still broken, and new stains have come through the carpet. I find it really hard to believe that this carpet had been professionally cleaned. The grounds are beautiful and the place is over all nice. I think if the office management wasn't so lazy this would be a wonderful place to live. With all the things that are wrong here you would think they might not have time to eat junk and watch TV all day. Oh, and for anyone interested in moving here.........There is no security fence. There's a gate but the solicitors are dropped off by a white van at the front of the complex and just walk onto the grounds. You will get solicitors at least once a month if not more.
