The staff is unwilling to provide adequate details about leasing options to tenants. Please don't ask them for a copy of the lease BEFORE you sign it, because they won't provide that. Don't ask me why. We asked for the new leasing rates, and they didn't know. We were told they'd get the info we requested within the week.....three weeks later, still no word.
I can cite several incidents of negligence from the front office regarding unprofessional, lazy, and irresponsible behavior, but I'll save you the time. Take my word for it. We had every intention of renewing our lease UNTIL we actually walked into the front office to sign a renewal. Yes, the front office staff really is THAT bad.
The complex itself is nice. Upkeep is pretty good. No complaints about the maintenance staff. The front office staff needs to be replaced.

I completely agree. I am currently a tenant. This is the MOST unfriendly place ever. The lease agreement weighs more than a pound - no I am not kidding.
You get the water bill at the last minute. Unless you send your check by express mail to their billing company in TX, you have to pay a $5 penalty every month.
I have lived in 100% more friendlier places in NW DC.
This place sucks.
