I moved in 2 months ago after exhaustively searching for an affordable apartment. Upon moving in there were multiple things broken.

Things Broken:
1) Door knobs loose on doors
2) Air conditioning broken
3) Main light fixture malfuctioning
4) Stove fixtures did not fit
5) Stovetop did not work
6) Leftover glue on the bathtub
7) Fireplace not wiped down efficiently
8) Screen Door not in place
9) I had to put a ton of draino in the sink
10) Showerhead was rusted out and had to be replaced
11) Ice maker didn't work
12) Both toilets ran continuously

Okay this sounds bad. but I would attribute most of these problems to the person that was living there before not properly reporting the problems. Upon reporting the problems all were fixed within a weeks time. They have at least two extremely nice maintenence workers and their front office staff (especially Joy) has been nothing but helpful. There is no excessive trash build up. There is no dog poop. There is no broken hand rails. I rarely here a footstep when inside my place. The carpets are nice.

My girlfriends car was broken into, but she left the door unlocked and all they did was take the change out of her car.

Other positive things
1) Great location!! It's less than a stones throw away from Harrison Crossing which has everything you need!
2) Great Staff! Helpful when you need them
3) Great Pool
4) Lots of kids around
5) Well lit, seems very safe
6) Great walking trail located conviently next to complex
7) Most square feet for price. We have a two bedroom two bathroom, 1150 sq ft for 990!!
8) Not noisy!
9) Parking is no problem, there are always plenty of visitors spaces available!
10) Gated, makes me feel safer
11) Newest complex, built in 2004

I lived at this place for 3 years and though things were great initially, they took a turn for the worst once Joy and her team moved in. A question just out of curiosity to the poster - are you sure you are not someone from the front office leaving a review anonymously or are you related to one of them? In any case, in the 3 years I lived here, there was absolutely no dearth of dog poop. I can't imagine that all of that went away all of a sudden. It also definitely was not the most square feet for price, in fact it was the exact opposite, the most expensive in terms of square footage for price. That one thing made it harder to take all the negatives when they came. But hey, there sure has been miracle :-D.

...what place is less expensive? I toured about 10 different apartment complexes and none were even close. 1150 sq. ft for $990 when you make over $40,000 a year is excellent. and I have no relations with the people at the front office.

1) Everything that you claimed wrong with the apartment is not the previous renters fault for "not reporting it." Those things (especially the appliances, light fixtures, etc) SHOULD be checked and repaired prior to you moving in. 2) Great carpet? I wish I had your apartment. My carpet was nasty. 3) Pool?! It wasn't even open most of the summer! I'm very happy that you've had a good experience. As a matter of fact, I'm jealous. :[ haha

are you sure you even rent one of the apartments? wow, in that case, you were treated very special...or one of the staff that lives here.. i agree with the last reviewer..everything you claimed was wrong!!!
