It seems as though management has gone on this site posing as a resident because me and all my neighbors feel the same and this place is the GHETTO. If you are just looking for a cheap apartment you get that here but i have learned that you get what you pay for. This place is the Worst apartment I have lived in. BUGS (not cute ones) ROACHES that you can not get rid of, MOLD, POOR PARKING, RUDE MANAGEMENT, Poor maintenace, I Just moved in a few months ago and am so upset i signed a 12 month lease. I am going on here to warn people as I read the nice comments on here before moving in.....the are LIES!!! I moved from out of the area and did not know that this was the ghetto of fredericksburg.....I JUST HOPE I HAVE HELPED SOMEONE ELSE NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID!!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Are you sure you are refering to Malvern Lakes, I have lived in Fredericksburg my whole life and Malvern Lakes is far from the Ghetto, in fact, Fredericksburg as a whole doesn't really have a Ghetto! I have lived for several years at Malvern Lakes and have never once felt unsafe, and I am a young woman living alone. The parking lot is always well lit, and the community is tucked off the main road surrounded by trees and a catholic school on one side and a brand new public school on the other. The grounds are landscaped each week and the maintenance man can be seen each morning picking up litter and emptying the trash cans. I would highly suggest this community to anyone who needs a rental. There are so many people that lived here since these apartments were first built and have no intention of leaving.
