I would not recommend living here. My husband and I looked around the Stafford Fredericksburg area before deciding on here based on location. After living here a month we realized our neighbors fought constantly, used extremely profane language, and were very loud. Upon bringing this information to the management, they told us that the walls were just thin and this is part of living in an apartment. After living like this for almost a year, and having to deal with neighbors throwing items off of their balcony, we were told that the management would move us to another apartment. How convenient for us. Be careful when moving out, because they will try to swindle any money out of you that they can, and there is no security with gates that are constantly broken. My husband has witnessed young men dressed in black with baseball bats walking through the parking lots looking in cars. Furthermore, the management is constantly wasting money on landscaping. I like live in an attractive place, but wasting my money by planting flowers for 1 month and then ripping them up on a monthly basis is a frustrating considering what is charged for rent.

I totally agree. I still live here until our house is built and when they lowered the rent they lowered the quality of people. We have nice cars that so far have not been disturbed, but yes they waste money on stuff and the staff is dumb and lazy. The manager is never here and the leasing agent failed to tell us we paid for our own water. Morons. No one else picks up after their dogs and until lawn care resumed after winter was over the grass was a minefield. It was awful. But our apartment itself is nice. Our upstairs neighbors are so ghetto and fight sometimes. But yes it is what happens in an apartment. I cannot wait for our home to be done, I am not an apartment person anymore. But I know it could be much much worse here. Knock on wood...

Lower rent only means affordable living, it does not mean that a Company can all of a sudden change their Background Screenings and policies, so that statement would be untrue. Unfortunately, apartment living has advantages and disadvantages. One of the disadvantages would be thin walls (especially in new construction) and you may have neighbor's that do not get along so well, that does not reflect on the Management of the Community. Also, for the moving in aspect and what you are not told, if something is not told to you upfront you should alway's be able to revert back to your Lease, or just ask!! Everyone is human and makes mistakes, that would not be the definition of a MORON.
