Do not rent a unit that has the stairs connected to it. The design is so poor that you can hear people going up and down the stairs and a lot of times it sounds like horses running and stumping. The stairs are next to my bedroom and I have been awoken many times from people going up and down the stairs outside. The windows are not well insulated - so my apt is very cold and drafty - electric bills high for one person. The laundry room is not designed well either. When I run the dryer, the entire apt turns into a misty hot sauna - and all the glass steams up. The laundry room is nearly unbearable to go into while the dryer is running - very hot - as if there are ventilation issues. Parking and lighting is pretty good - breezeways need a bit more cleaning - other than that - when comparing price for what you get - it is not bad.
