We have lived on Chivalry Way for a little over a year and the same thing happened to us when they replaced our heater- we ended up without heat in mid-January for a week. Before that we had also been having problems with our heat, that despite at least 4 calls about, they refused to come and fix it (I guess since they knew a new heater was being installed in the next few weeks they didnt care. Little did they know there would be the same issue with the new heater leaving us with no heat again. Instead they gave us a space heater for our 2 bedroom apt) We never paid our rent even a day late and never had any issues with neighbors but apparently 1000 dollars per month means you aren't worthy of heat. And in response to the comment by someone else about how they loved living here because the staff "has fun" together- I am sorry I am not paying so much money for people to have fun, I am paying money to have a safe place to live WITH HEAT. If that is accomplished AND they have fun, more power to them but until that happens I give them no credit. Other issues we had while liviong there were neighbors with music so loud that we couldnt hear our tv but the floor and walls were vibrating- when we called to complain they told us that they couldn't do anything about it and they we should call the police. Now I know when I signed my lease it specifically addressed loud music, and if they can't do anything about it then why is it in my lease' From that I just assumed they didn't want to deal with it because they were "having too much fun" down at the leasing office.

I think your full of ----, I had a issue and they took care of it right away. Heat is not the leasing offices job. Their job is to take care of issues which you say you have. In no way shape or form would they ignore your problem, only becuase they took care of mine so fast. If it's after hours would you prefer to call the office??? What good would that do, they aren't open 24 hours a day.. Dumb ass.. That's why they say call the police. How ignorant are you? If you complained their is no doubt in my mind they wouldn't take care of you, since my issue had been taken care of. let me tell you I had the same issue and I called the police and then let the office know and they jumped right on it. As far as the heat situation goes, when I moved in they told me that they were replacing the heating systems and some had issues. I am sure you had what was it called emergency heat? They don't seem like the type to not address an issue. Just my opinion anyone reading this will gather from thier experince with the office and maintenance men. I stand by my review, they are awesome people.

I think it will be interesting when jimmenycricket has a problem with the management, then things will be different. I agree with unhappy...I feel the same way...

Um yes, their take of "emergency heat" was one space heater for our two bedroom apartment. I am glad you had a great experience Jimmeny, we, however, did not. We called numerous for our issue and they continuously failed to respond
