The office staff rotates on a regular basis, so if you go in with a problem, then one arises 4 months later, chances are you won't see the same office staff you saw 4 months ago, if you are lucky you may see one familiar face that had just gotten there. High rotation of an office staff is usually a huge sign of poor management and improper leadership and/or business practices. If the employees arn't happy to work there, then chances are it isn't the best place to live. Common sense.
I don't know about overall, but my apartment suffered fairly serious water damage along two of the walls and it took several calls just to get somebody to come in and look at it, the next day they came and sprayed it down, not all of it, but just a portion. This isn't fixing the problem, it's just covering it up. That's all their maintenance staff does is fix it so it "looks" better, but the problem will come back months down the road. Such problems include
-Internal doors have plastic interior doorknobs, so they wear out and break once a year or twice a year.
-Shower temperature gague breaks, eliminating your hot water overtime. This happens probably every 6 months or so.
-Stains in carpet. When I moved in they had just repainted, poorly spackled holes in the wall and painted over them...very poor job of covering up damage left by previous tennants. Then they dripped paint on the carpet. This can be documented in your initial inspection of the apartment but it doesn't mean they are going to fix the problem......because they don't.
When I first moved into the building I'm in, it was all military and police, things were quiet except for the occassional weekend sports party or something, but it was very tight nit and respectful. Now most of the military are gone, the law enforcement guys have left, and the people that replaced them are noisy, disrespectful, litter everywhere, and basically have no common courtesy what-so-ever, yet they get offended when you tell them to turn their music down or to turn down the radios in their cars.
This place probably started going down hill around the time that I moved in, and is showing no signs of improving, especially with the local buildup of the commercial district in the area, this place will quickly become a hole-in-the-wall, crime infested neighborhood.

I don't agree with you at all. This place is a nice place there will be things in every apartment complex that you live in. I guess your one of those people that nobody can make happy. Management here has had some turning, but do you think it could be that better things came for them, or a death in the family, a transfer of employment with their spouse? NO, you don't the last manager left b/c of promotion which I guess speaks highly about the company that they promote within, think b/f you speak or at least until you have the FACTS!

Reduced rent is not the only thing she did wrong. what an idiot for thinking it would never come back to her for breaking law after law. she probably still does not have a job-if you are friends with her, i feel sorry for you.
