NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL ...
... and here is why. We had signed their "Intent to Vacate" form which indicated that our move out date would be 25 February 2003. From January through February we were living in our newly purchased home and were using the apartment as a second residence.
We gave them our rent check on the 1st of February. They promptly cashed the check, and sometime between the 1st and 3rd locked us out of the apartment. They told my wife, when she showed up on the 6th, that it was because they had found a rentor for our apartment for mid-February. You read that right, but maybe you want to read it again just to make sure that you understood.
THEY TOOK OUR RENT FOR THE MONTH AND THEN LOCKED US OUT!
They had packed up our belongings and moved them to storage. They threw away several hundred dollars of food and liquor.
IT TOOK US SEVERAL MONTHS AND HUNDREDS IN LAWYER FEES TO GET OUR MONEY BACK.
Instead of admitting the mistake they made us fight the action all the way. This was by far the worst renting experience my wife and I have ever had.
If that isn?t reason enough here are some other reasons you might want to consider before renting here. The rent was high and the grounds were not well kept. There is trash laying about and hardpack gravel where grass once grew. The weight room is very small and the "universal gym" was out of repair pretty much the whole time I was there. The pool was closed on several major summer holidays, e.g. Labor Day and the Fourth of July. We found the local elementary school to be economically poor and sub-standard for our children. The first week at our apartment we were not careful where we parked and our car was towed by the towing company that prowls the parking lots. (this is why I rate the parking a total nightmare). Ahhh, but perhaps you will find your own reasons. I hope not.
