I cosigned an agreement with my daughter. It was her first place on her own. What a disaster! I was deployed when she accepted it so the existing problems were never properly documented. Of course, when she moved out they were all listed as new damage. There was a leak in the shower wall and the tile was coming off. The entire wall was rotted and moldy, and they kept the security deposit and charged her an additional 200 dollars for additional damages. She just wanted to be rid of them so she paid it. Six months later I got a notice from a collector stating that she still owed them the $. Well, the manager left, and the check was never deposited until three months later, and her account was NEVER credited. So I had to go back to the bank and get a copy of the cashier's check, and prove to the agency and the Apt Manager that it was paid. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
