I just want to take a minute to tell whoever may come across this website as I did, what a great community Townsend Square is! I have actually recommended a friend to move in and they did!
I have lived at Townsend for three years now. It is a quite neighborhood, convient to all areas of Fredericksburg and Central Park. It's back from the road with tons of trees, you feel nestled away from everything. The staff is constantly keeping clean the grounds from picking up trash to blowing out the breezeways. I see staff memebers doing this several times a week. Maintenance is wonderful, they get it right the first time, and if it's a stubborn problem they give it all they have until the problem is resolved and you as a resident are satisfied. The wonderful staff realizes this isn't just an apartment to some people, it's their homes, whether it is temporary or long term. The have community events, pool parties, Christmas parties, you name it they have it. At their expense. There is just great community involvement that NO OTHER RENTAL COMMUNITY has. I have never seen outrageous behavior or anything shady. I feel safe here at Townsend. I did have a problem with a disrespectful neighbor and it was handled immediately and professionally. They go out of the way at Townsend to please their residents. Please don't take advice from the negative postings. I was in total disbelief. Just see for your self what a great place it is..and why someone would live there for 3 years if it was so bad. The only issue is not enough visitor parking. The whole left side of the parking lot when driving up the hill is almost always vacant, leaving guests who visit very frustrated. However, I am sure that if enough people addressed this issue it would be made to accomadate the residents. Like I said, Townsend employees go out of their way for their residents.
It's just a great place, it's involved. Quiet, clean, safe, kid friendly events, playground. They have a great business center. I could go on and on...but hopefully you get the point!
