dont judge a book by its cover...

This place has been a nightmare since day one of trying to move in, we also had alot of our paperwork lost that had already been turned in and it took countless hours of used minutes on our phones to get things all together, I felt like sending them my phone bill. Once your lease is signed and all the paperwork is figured out you "should" be good to go, but there are a number of things to consider: dont judge a book by its cover- the place looks nice from the outside but the people in the leasing office are some of the rudest, unorganized, nosey people ive ever met and they dont make you feel welcome but like a total pain. Beware, the maintenance and management people like to enter your apartment without notice whenever they feel like it to change air condition filters or to do "checks" and watch out if you are in the shower, still in bed or out of town for the weekend, because they dont give you any warning that they are coming, and dont feel its nesesary to inform you they are coming even though you are living there and dont appreciate someone walking in anyday at anytime...or the best one so far has been when they came to replace our slightly broken blinds (that are cheap and break easily) and didnt even tell us they were coming, when we got home we had brand new blinds and two days later a unexpected bill for $100. Also thought I should mention the noise level here isnt always the greatest, when we first moved in there would be fights and loud cars at 3am or did i mention the firework displays everynight for 2 weeks before the fourth of july at 3am, NOT fun!!! We live on the 3rd floor so the noise level as far as the walls go havent been a problem, but living on the 1st or 2nd floor, you can definatly here the people above you if they are just walking down the hall.OH and also thought id mention that after you live here for a year, they charge you more for rent, thats soo ridiculous, wouldnt you think that if anything they would charge you less the longer you live here, HA, no...not somerset. The apartments in general are pretty nice inside and stuff so i guess thats a good thing, and if you need something fixed maintenance is pretty good about it, but there are alot of other things that would steer me away from here if i had known it when we were looking...we cant wait till our lease is up to be able to move somewhee else...good luck!

You all are a bunch of complaining ass people, and you probably have some damn rugrats that jack the blinds up the day after they replace them. Get a ------- life and if you don't like it there then roll out.

I agree with you, I had such a hard time moving out of the damn place. I told them I wasn't replacing a damn thing, becuase the apartments are nothing but ----. I was getting do sick of those damn nigers in the rental office. Nothing but a bunch of ------- stupid -------. One day I walked in there and they are sitting around doing nothing but eating chicken and they had no shoes on. They made me sit there and wait while they finished a personal conversation. When the new managment started there, it all went down hill. To anonymous, you are one of those ghetto ass people making the damn noise and bringing the neighbood down. Eventually is just going to be another Georgetown South.

I agree with you. This place stinks. I had to place a call to the office for maintenance to fix my broken toilet and it took 2 phone calls to get them to come out a week later. Then a week after that I get a bill for the blinds they replaced without speaking to me first. Now today I get another bill from them saying I owe them a maintenance fee of $25 for fixing the toilet.
