I have lived here for six years and the service is getting worse as the years progress.
The biggest problem is the lack of insulation from your neighbors. Everytime the phone rings or a baby cries next door, you hear it. If the doorbell rings or there is someone at the door, you hear it. When someone has a fire going or smokes in their house, the smoke comes in through the vents into your home.
The maintenance staff is weak and the staff rarely responds to requests. Packages that are signed for are left at the office for anyone to walk in and pickup without verifying their ID matches the name on the package. This means anyone can take your package if it's not left at your door.
I like the closeness to the West End which is the major draw of these apartments. The price is very high for what you get and honestly I feel trapped here until the housing market calms down a bit.
The office has messed up my billing numerous times where I have had to correct them.
An empty apartment next to me had a smoke detector go off for more than an entire day causing me to lose sleep for two consecutive nights. Calls to the emergency number did nothing.
My garage door has never been fixed properly despite my multiple calls and maintenance visits. The heating in the house is horrible, upstairs it's 78 degrees when it's 68 downstairs. Try keeping it 70 degrees in the house downstairs in the winter and you will fry in your bedroom upstairs.
My light has been out outside my apartment for about a year now without being fixed.
For your sake, don't live here.
