DO NOT RENT HERE!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
My lease is up in July and I am counting the days for when I can move out. This apartment complex is by far the worst that I have EVER lived in, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's awful. When we first moved in last year, it was as if no one had cleaned the place, or done any move in maintenance. Window screens were ripped, the carpet was filthy, blinds were broken and there were dead flies all over.
Even though they were pretty quick to fix these problems, they didn't stop. Some of the previous maintenance work was so bad that things didn't stay fixed. My roommate removed the vent cover from inside her closet and found that pipes had been taped together!! Our air conditioner has since broken twice and emergency maintenance IS a joke. They never call you back, and even during office hours, the leasing office always keeps on their night answering message so you can never talk to anyone. They have never once apolpgized for their lack of professionalism.
There are huge families crammed into small one bedroom apartments and smells are always drifting up to my apartment from surrounding apartments. They let tenants keep their trash outside of their doors and wrecked vehicles are parked all over.
Do not rent this apartnent. Their summer special is appealing (which is what drew me in), but you can find better apartments for the same price if you hunt around. Don't put yourself through what we have. Don't rent at Champion's Club.
