I have been a resident at the Champion's club Apartments since March 2005. I have seen management change twice since then. The first two managements have been good, the condition of the apartments was kept very good and if any problems the maintenance would take care of it in a reasonable time. I once loved living here. Nice peaceful and no hassle living. I never had any complaints with the management then. But the present management team is just not good....NOT at all professional in handling maintenance requests. As one of the reviewer s said the Office staff (Professionalism, knowledge, helpfulness, and overall service level): Not helpful. Generally, a pain to deal with.
Here are some bad experiences I have had:
1) I had one problem about the metal strip between the kitchen floor and the room carpet coming off and popping up in the way of anyone who is walking into the kitchen area and could hurt anyone. I called the office and left a message on their system and no-one showed up for the repair for a week, so finally I went into the office just to discover that they had no record of my complaint.
2) When I renewed my lease this year I was offered free steam carpet cleaning as a bonus. However, it was not done for 2 months after signing up, so went to the office asking about it and they had not clue that it was not done at all. And front desk lady has the audacity to ask "Why do want to get it done all of the sudden'" ...Wow, you were suppose to get it done in my apartment as a part of the lease agreement but since you forget all about it I had to come and remind you and now you ask me why I remembered it now.
3) Recently, I received a notice about my satellite dish being installed in a wrong manner which was against the apartment policy and that I would be fined!.....guess what ...I don't have any Dish antenna in my balcony....in fact I never have had any Dish or Direct TV subscription.....so I was furious and asked why such notice was issued, the front desk lady says "Oh. If you don't have the antenna don't bother about it" and then throws the notice into the dustbin.
Anyways my point here is the current management is just unprofessional which makes it hard for you live here. I am just waiting for my lease to get over and that s it I am out of here.
I would advice you to look into other places...rent might be ok here but management and service is really bad quality. The maintenance staff also keeps changing very often I guess because of being overloaded with down sliding quality of apartments
