Let me list my issues- note: I've only lived here since the end of March 2007...

1) They gave me the "wrong" keys the first time around... it took two days to get it straight because my calls and e-mails about the issue went unanswered. The only way we got resolution was to actually come up at lunch and tell them about the situation. Maybe if they had actually answered the phones during business hours instead of letting it roll to VM all the time, it wouldn't have taken so long. I did page emergency maint. but the guy was RUDE as hell so that only made it worse.
2) The sink faucet leaked.
3)The blinds kept breaking.
4) The dryer was broken.
4)My bathroom flooded. First, I was told the AC was frozen and would dump a water while thawing. Well, it dumped water all right... for almost 48 hours. I called maint. back because it seemed excessive. They checked it again only to discover it wasn't the AC- oh, it was broken and caused a leak in front of the washer and dryer but wasn't the cause of the flooded bathroom. See below.
5)My sink was busted. The bathroom flooded to the point that my carpet outside the bathroom absorbed all the water. So, between the leaking ac and the flooded bathroom, the carpet in the entire hallway and around the corner into the dining room was soaked. I had to ASK them to spray mold preventative and to replace the bottom portion of the sink. Underneath it is very icky though. You could see a water stain where apparently this happened before. I notified the leasing office and property manager. Apparently the district manager wanted to do a walk through to make sure all was well but she had to "cancel" at the last minute.
6) Now, my toilet is clogged- no idea why. Not only is it clogged, but it is leaking from the bottom. It is 1:26am and I've been trying to get in touch with emergency maint. since 11:30 pm but have received no response. Per their own message, my clogged toilet is an emergent issue because i'm in a one bedroom and there is standing water. Glad to know they give a damn!
When I rented this place, I was so excited because I got a "concession" fee so I'm only paying 599... thought I was getting a deal. Ha. My bet is that the last person that lived here got tired of mopping the bathroom all the time.
