I put down a deposit on an apartment before I discovered this website and learned about the break-ins. During my visit, I point-blank asked ------, the ---- showing me the apartments, if there had been any crime incidents/ reports in this complex. --- looked me in the face and said "No".

After I read these posts online, there was no way I was going to sign a lease. I called her to let her know. When I finally got a hold of her- I called her out on her lie. First, --- admitted that these break-ins happened in November. Second, I called her out on her lie. --- said, because these incidents happened in November (which was FIVE MONTHS AGO), it was in 2007 and therefore it was not RECENT. Are you kidding me'''

--- then stated that --- would cash my deposit. I have never been a litigatous person, and I understand that a lawyer would probably cost more than the $95 deposit, however, I will be in touch with my lawyer if --- ca---s the check for the ---er principle of the matter. Businesses should be held accountable for unscrupulous practices.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Safety aside- even if you did have the courage to live in such an unsafe complex- do you really want to deal with an unhonest management staff through the entirety of your stay'

Contact a lawyer. You can call the local lawyer referral service and they will set you up for a small consult fee. You can also complain to the city or take them to small claims court. Myself and a couple other residents had to consult a lawyer to terminate our lease as a result of their lies and inability to fix serious maintenance problems such as flooding and mold. You can also email ------------------------------o is the regional manager for the complex about your issue. I had many heated emails with her about terminating my lease for no charge and eventually --- gave in when I threatened to sue and call the city on --------------------------------.com is the area manager for Champions Club and a couple others in the area if you want to contact her as well. When I was there -------------- was the complex manager. ---'s a witch but you may want to see if --- will refund your deposit.

This is the one of worst management i ever seen, they always lie. They are very rude. They do not know how to respond to the residents. It seems me they think that they may are managing a Five start hotel.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, I LIVE ACROSS THE STREET(THEY ARE ALMOST AS BAD), WAS THINKING ABOUT MOVING THERE BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION...NOW I'LL KEEP LOOKING,GUESS GOOD HELP IS HARD TI COME BY THESE DAYS.
