Not very happy

I have been here a bit over a month and really disappointed. For the rent they charge it just seems that it is not worth the money. For instance the place is gated. I think that's a joke. ANYONE can get in here. The gates do nothing but create a bottleneck if several people are coming and going. The gates don't keep anyone out if they have a will to get in, they only slow you down getting in and out. Only two entrances and that sucks. The parking is horrible and extremely cramped. I can barely back out of a space some mornings if the spaces in back of me are also full.
The apartment is not designed very logistically either. The bathroom is this huge long room and the towel rack on the opposite end of the bathtub. Yeah makes a lot of sense. The louvered doors in front of the washer/dryer in the bathroom never stay on track and are a pain. The amenities in the clubhouse are ok but the temperature in the billiards room is always ten degrees hotter than everyone else rendering it impossible to enjoy yourself in there.
The entire apt has ONE closet. Apartments normally make up for small size by having storage. No storage on the balcony like other places i have lived, no coat closet. One walk in closet which is a nice size but when that is the ONLY closet it gets full VERY QUICK!
Just pretty disappointed. I will stay out my lease and leave. I feel like it is also in the middle of nowhere. Nothing very closeby. I miss the convenience of living closer to civilization.

Wow! Been there only a month and already have so many negatives. Did you do your homework before moving in and notice any of these things you talk so poorly about? You probably saw the style apt you were going to have and could have seen how the layout does not flow. Or the parking situation when you checked it out as well. Check your lease also. Most places have a window you can give them to move out. Maybe 1st year it's different but many places say give 90 days notice and you pay 1 month addt'l rent. That way may put you out 1 addt'l month's rent but it may be better than staying in there for the next 11 months.
