I've lived at teh Hamptons for two years now, and here are my thoughts:
- Be careful what unit you chose. Some of them can be noisy, especially the ones around the pool (in the summer)
- Management office is VERY responsive to maintenance request. You'll have someone show up at your door within hours
- Rent is a bit high (1100 dollars for a one bedroom) and you could save a few hunderd dollars by shopping around (for a same type of "standard")
- Limited to no social life
- Overall, a very good choice but make sure you shop around before signing anything
