An Apartment In Decline
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 6/8/2006
Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
Despite the cheery reviews and the awards, The Gables are on a steady downward deline that is obvious to people who have lived here more than a year.
The grounds and interior forest area are littered and some residents eave out their trash on their front steps for days at a time, causing the worst odors. By the time you've called in the problem a few times and your neighbors start to get the hint, they'll be moving out, only to be replaced by a new group that'll do the same thing.
The apartment used to bill itself as pet-friendly and attract animal lovers, but that has changed: gone are the "we're pet-friendly" signs, and more and more families and young college students --who usually seem to cause quite a few of the garbage and noise problems-- have replaced the former set.
I used to love this place. Now I can't wait to get away from it. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
