Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Pros: Ample Parking, very nice pool, pool area, clubhouse, and gym, tall ceilings in the apartment, nice community, decent layout and design of the apartment overall.
Cons: Overpriced, no sound insulation, poor lighting fixtures - the bedrooms and living room overhead lighting is not installed and the rest of the house is florescent - not that there's anything wrong with being enviro-friendly, but it produces very poor light the way they have it installed. The paint on the drywall in our apartment was not sprayed on properly and can be picked off easily. Even thought we paid a "cleaning fee," the apartment was still dirty when we moved in. The staff is nice up until you sign your lease. Herb the cable guy cannot be trusted, anything that comes out of his mouth is BS. We pay for "premium" broadband internet through the complex's proprietary company "BECO Cable" and get the equivalant to dial-up speed. To figure out the reason for that I had to go over BECO's head and talk to BECO Cable's internet service provider. They told me BECO Cable is overusing their bandwidth which basically means BECO wants to charge more for what they can't provide in the first place...
