Not in a million years!

This place was awful! I lived at 3 different complexes in Hampton and this was by far the worst. The rent is definitely high for what you get. They advertise a nature walk...don't be fooled. There is a row of trees around the property that you can walk through, but there is no established path. The maintenance is awful. I actually had to give them written demands giving them a deadline to fix things before I would start withholding rent. They finally sort of fixed things about 3 days before rent was due. A lot of times when I did have maintenance issues Robin would tell me to use some type of home remidy usually involving bleach or moth bolls and basically saying it was my problem.
When we moved out we were told we would have to pay a certain amount of money to pay to have the apartment painted. This amount was on the check out sheet. However, the money that we deposited initially said in the lease it covered the cost of painting. Which in my opinion should be up to the owners to do between tenants unless significant damage was done. So basically they try to scam people into paying for paint twice.
They never had enough staff to maintain the apartments or the grounds. When I lived there they had some tenant that was obsessed with his leaf blower and I actually had to ask him to leave a few times. He would use this thing like a rake and spend hours in the courtyards trying to blow the leaves from the front to the back, only for the wind to undo his job the next day. It was obnoxious.
The day we moved in our apartment was flooded my the downstairs toilet because tree roots were growing in the system somewhere. The plumbers said this could happen at any time. I told Robin I didn't want to have to expect flooding and damaging all of my property. She told me that it's not their fault and I would have to take my chances. I asked if they would cut down the tree. She looked at me as if I were nuts and said "No, the root system is far too extensive underground to be able to cut it down." Hello!'! That's exactly the problem!
They also advertised a playground. It was a broken down swingset they never bothered to repair.
Craig and Robin do their jobs horribly! The maintenance guy Marty was nice, but not very good at his job. I would never in a million years recommend this place to anyone!
