I have been living in KS for four years. I am in the process of breaking my lease because I can no longer stand to be here. When I first moved here in 2004, the place was nice. The office staff was polite, landscaping was done, no parking problems, and overall it was a really nice community. I don't know what has happened or who is at fault that this place has gone down hill fast over the past four years. No longer can you expect to have nice landscaping with grass, it is replaced with tree roots and dirt. The pile of leaves, dog droppings, and numerous other junk that lays out my back door is a major eye sore. The exterior lighting is mininimal if not non-existent in some areas. Good luck getting maintenance in to fix a problem, and if you do, prepare to clean up after they have gone. And the bug problem. I have never in my life had so many bugs. For people who know me, I am a clean freak. If they would just spray outside like they have in the past we would not have the problem that we have now. Although tenants are allowed to have pets, apparently having them on a leash is no longer a rule. I have seen several tenants with dogs and no leashes. I have a dog and she is always on a leash. I would no longer recommend this anyone. For the amount of money we pay each month, we should have a nicer place to live.
