We've been living here for about 6 months and liked it a lot at first! On the positive side, maintenance seems to be decent, the one time we had a request, they showed up the next day. Parking has been great for our building, but there are other buildings where it's difficult to find a spot. Our apartment was fixed up nice when we moved in and in very good condition. People are fairly friendly and the complex hosts several community events each year so that residents can meet each other. The staff has been friendly so far, but I've heard from others that they aren't very helpful when you need something done or have a complaint.
On the down side, the apartments not worth the price due to the fact that it is supposed to be a gated community and the gates are broken at least once a month. Even when they work, people tail gate in like crazy so it's really easy to get in, even if you don't live there. A few months ago there were several cop cars parked in front of our building and cops were interviewing people for several hours...not sure what happened, but it can't be good. There is a good deal of noise transfer between apartments as well. Lots of people don't pick up their dog poop either so it's easy to find it all over the place. I've also heard of people getting towed who live at the complex.
Bottom line, if you are willing to pay a lot of money for a place that is so-so, go right ahead, but looking back, we wish we would have chosen somewhere else. Not worth the money and not worth losing sleep at night from noise.
