My husband and I are Military and had to pick a place off the internet because he was deployed and I was at home with family. The website made it look decent and there were paid utilities and a military set aside rate... PERFECT right' NOT SO MUCH!!
We have had roaches since we moved in to this apartment saw one the very first day after we got all our stuff off the truck!! If you inform the management about this problem they will tell you that it is all your fault.
About a month after we moved in EVERYTHING started flooding!! The toilet overflows, the bathtub overflows, the sink in the kitchen over flows, oh yeah and please dont forget the washing machine in the hallway which overflows and runs all the way into the middle of my livingroom floor. You can count on a plumbing back up and flood weekly. Sewage water regularly sits in our carpet for hours until they have someone come and do an "extraction". ( when the leave the carpet is just as wet as when they came then they leave fans so that the smell drys in there faster!!) LOVELY!! I cant imagine how healthy having sewage water dried into the carpet frequently is for a two year old and someone who is currantly 8 and a half months pregnant or even for my husband. If we go out of town and we know we are going to be gone for anything more then three days we pick up everything in the bathroom and move our furniture from all of the places that are usually soaked by these backups just as a normal precaution. There are always maintenance people knocking on the door or just coming in and out at all times from 9:00 am until 10:30 pm sometimes later.( you can wake up in the middle of the night to water pouring from different places, sometimes two at once!!)
I locked myself out of my house not too long ago on my way to pick up my prescription for medication for strep throat. I called the business office on my cell phone to ask them to please have someone come and let me in. The rude lady in the business office told me that they needed to see an ID and that I would have to walk all the way down to the business office and show her my id and sign out another key which I would need to have back in 5 minutes before they closed or they were going to charge me for it.( I live in the buildings way down across from the elementary school) I tried explainging to her that it was an emergency and that I was sick with strep and 8 months pregnant and had my two year old which I would have to carry all the way down there and that it was in the early 40's outside and apparently liberty estates cant make that exception for anyone no matter what your situation is. Apparently maintenance can only open the doors and let themselves in not severly pregnant sick women and children on cold days. After I walked all the way down there carrying my child barely able to speak the lady in the office at the desk was extremely rude giving me dirty looks and being snappy ect then gave me the key and told me I had to have it back or she will be charging me.
The only thing I cant complain about is the parking! The parking at least for my building is okay.
The noise... YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING!! Your neighbors beside you, your neighbors above you, gun shots ect.
The grounds I gringe everytime I have to walk to the dumpster to take out our trash when I have to take my two year old with me. There is broken glass EVERYWHERE!!! Tacs from the roof, trash, and numerous other sharp objects!
saftey... if you count walking in sewage and roaches and gunshots ect as safe then this is the place for you.
Construction.. They have only done two construction type jobs since I have been here one was the roof ( they threw all the shingles and trash off into the bushes and onto our patio) and they painted our door.
Maintenance, they obviously are not fixing the problems correctly because we continue to be flooded weekly, the bathroom door is falling off the hinge and you can see where they have just put new screws in places they dont belong to make it hang in there just a little longer. There are obvious patches in some of the walls ect. They are usually nice and friendly at least.
Staff... as I mentioned with the locking out incident. The office staff here are rude, nasty, extremely snotty people. I always procrastinate when having to go to the business office for something and always pay my rent online. They give you dirty looks, act like they are so much better then you, and your problems are not their problems.
As far as the overall rating I am wondering how bad a place actually has to be before its condemed. I think this place may be getting close.

I can't believe you gave this place a 3*star* ratting! I agree this place SUCKS!!
Those ladies in the office make me want to scream!!! RUDE is an understatement!
At least the parking on that side of the road is reasonable! I've had to consider getting a taxi from my parking spot to my appartment over here!! LOL!!!
The Militart TOTALLY has to take this place off their list of approved appartments! I think we all need to make a call to housing and have it BLACKLISTED!!
I CAN"T wait to get out of here!!!
