i lived in northampton village for about 2 years from 2002-2004. the rent was dirt cheap at $575 it the next year was about $610 so it was not too bad. they did replace the windows but my townhouse was still very drafty during the winter.
i liked staying there but they started to charge for water in 2004 so i left for greener pastures. i was lucky and had a laundry facility right behind my place so that was cool. the office was pretty good and whenever i had a request to get something fixed it happened with in 2 days. they just need to update the kitchens and bathrooms. the only thing i didn't like was all the kids in the street and my neighbor and her tribe of 4 loud abnoxious kids and all their friends. oh cambridge next door is owned by the same management company and u will hear occasional gunshots from that area.
