After reading the reviews for Northampton, I don't think that a fair light has been cast on it. The homes are very nice for the price and management is generally good about handling things for you. It's easy to call in a maintenance request becuase they give you the direct number. The majority of the neighbors are friendly...overall it's a decent place to live. I will be here until it's time to buy my house.
