I have lived here since 2006. I have never had a problem except with one person from the office, who was let go. The maintenance staff has always taken care of any problem I have reported, and the office staff has always gone out of their way to help correct any issue. The one office member who was released had a bad attitude which the manager would not allow.
As for the noise, we are near the runway from Langley AFB, but I knew that when I moved here. Anywhere you live in Hampton, you'll hear the jets. The grounds are well kept with a nice line of bushes which help to keep down the street noise. The pool & community areas are well maintained and the parking is well lighted. Sometimes the parking is limited in the 2 & 3 bedrooms area apts, I believe due to everyone having 2-3 cars per apt.
Overall, I would highly recommend Signature Place Apts.

All is not what it seems with these reviews. There is no way that in three days three separate posters had good experiences with the company when all the other reviewers said this place was crap. Go with the "THIS PLACE ISN'T WORTH THE MONEY THEY CHARGE" and "THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE." Those are more accurate reviews.

Yet back when a staff member was terminated, for a poor attitude and bad work , all the bad reviews showed up, by KristenNJ & Anonymous . Strange. I don't work for the apt, but I live here and work in a field where I see real problems with property up keep. Signature Place has problems like all rental property however they make an effort to correct the problems which are not the tenants fault, yet hold the tenants responsible for what they tear up, but still fix the problem. They might not get it right the first time, every time, but I guess all the people who are complaining are perfect each and every time, never needing to do anything over, due to a mistake. Everyone has an opinion, but you also should be held accountable when you mess up, which is what they do here. I can't see how it is the apartment complexes fault if a car gets broken into, jets fly at night, and other things I see people whining about here. If everyone who has complained has found a better place to live, good for them.

I think KristenNJ is right on the button! I found it so weird that EVERY day this week, Signature has been getting a NEW and GOOD review. It makes no sense because the apartments are small, overpriced and the staff including the property manager are rude and incompetent. I think ANONYMOUS up there chose to stay anonymous because he/she may work for this horrible complex.
