To anybody that is looking at renting an apartment at Spinnaker Cove, I wouldn't. We have lived here for almost 2yrs and wish we would have never looked at this place. We have had so many problems here and, it take forever for them to get fixed. The maintance staff and office staff don't want to fix anything, when it needs to be fixed. Here are just a few of the minor problems that we have had here: all the windows are foggy and the seal is gone,(so just imagtion the draft during the winter)The carpet is patched in many places and is stained from previous tentants, there are holes in the floor underneath the carpet, the fuses in the fuse box blow all the time. Here are some of the major problems that we have had: The hot water tank doesn't work properly, you can only take a 5 min shower and then you have to wait 45min for more hot water, AC units are always breaking, it took us six months to get a new refidgerator after we moved in. Now, the next and worst problem that we have had is water running down the dinning room wall and the only thing that the maintance staff could tell me was that it was the gutters leaking. (mind you this is an interior wall). Since they didn't want to fix it, the wall and the carpet began to grow BLACK MOLD. The maintance staff finally came and sprayed the the moled spot with this stuff called Kilz witch is supposed to kill mold, but think about it, what about the mold in the air duct and inside the wall. Black mold can be very harmful to a person/pets health and can kill a person/pets. If this doesn't not discourge you from living here nothing anybody says will. And good luck to you.

I'd imagine he's the same as most in the area. Folks find a place in town that's close enough (it is a nicely centralized location) without thoroughly checking the place out due to time constraints. After they move in they find problems that are only apparent after being there a while, and they're bound by their lease for a year, then when it's time to renew or leave they can't get another place (most folks there are military and can't promise staying on in a new lease in a new place and move all their things to the new apt just to leave 5 months later to repeat the process).
