WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!!

Spinnaker Cove is one of the WORST places to live as stated by other past residents that have visited the site. The office staff appears to be friendly (and in fact, there is one young lady that is--but she is only part-time, weekend) otherwise, the full-time office personnel and maintenance staff are HORRIBLE. They have attitude and are very cliquish, as if the residents owe them something....excuse me, last time that I thought about it, I was almost certain that I was paying almost $900.00 to live here. And the office staff and maintenance staff are not the only problems!!! PARKING SUCKS!! There is none. There are probably about 20 spaces for about three to four buildings. You do the math, needless to say, there is never any parking. They will tow your car and make you pay for it. So in summary, they fail to provide sufficient parking, tow your car when you park on the curb (not disrupting traffic or anything), and make you pay for it, and oh yeah, it is not posted that you may not park in certain places. There are no signs showing designated parking areas. As far as the beautiful landscape, it is okay, but definitely not all that.....do not be fooled. One thing for sure is that they take more pride in the outside of the complex rather than the residents homes. There is always a lack of hot water, after taking a five minute shower, the water becomes barely warm, then cold. The insulation in the windows....oh, there is none....it is FREEZING cold. When you complain about it, you will be told to purchase some curtains or a space heater...wow! Believe me, you can find much better for the same price in Hampton and Newport News. The facilities are old...and I wish today that I would have taken the advice given to me on this site when I was looking for an apartment. So, I think that that is enough for now, I could go on and on, but I will not. Good luck with your apartment search!
