Rent Just Keeps Going Up

First of all when I moved here it was only $850 a month. Now the rent is $965 per month and the water bill is around $40 a month. So as of right now it is about $1005 a month utilities. That is crazy. I lived in a much nicer and newer apartment complex before I moved to Spinnaker and my rent was on $1073 a month and that was including the water bill.
The Gym here is junk. They say they are going to fix it up but never do.
The maintenance people are rude and one of the females that work on the maintenance team has showed up to fix my A/C smelling strong of liquor.
My A/C is horrid. Although they say they put a new unit in the temprature in my apartment rarely dips below 78 degrees no matter what you have it set on.
I have to say when I moved in here I knew it was not the greatest but then again that was a savings of almost $300 a month on rent. Figured you get what you pay for. Now with the price increases I am not feeling the same way. I am paying much more then I am getting.
Something needs to be done about this place.

Be careful what you say in here. The snob who managed Spinaker cove back in 2005 when I moved out saw what I wrote in here and confronted me about it. Since I was moving out at the time she knew who I was after reading my review. She took it personal and withheld my deposit for a refigerator that had cracked plastic that was not my fault. It was an anient piece of junk not worth $10. I never received any kind of paper work or statement from the apartment on where my deposit went. If they witheld my deposit for a piece of worthless equipment, they should have to prove the current value of the refrigerator in writing. Their maintenance people were very creepy and lacked all skill that should be required. They fixed a hole in my ceiling in the bathroom from a water line leak and it fell open again the next day. When I movd out they complained about the hole.
I moved to Four Seasons down the street and it is great. Everyting was new when I moved in, clean grounds, nice maintenance crew, cheaper rent for a place much larger and nicer than Spinnaker cove. The place needs a complete overhaul.

As far as what I say here, I'm going to be blunt. If it's true, people need to know. The management can't do a damn thing, because I can back myself up.
A lot of residents are dealing with the same issues, especially the AC not working. We don't make this ---- up. If I need to, I'm willing to take legal action.
The rent contract I signed included AC. Last time I checked, I wasn't living in a cave. These conditions are unacceptable.
