Rent at your own risk!

I'm a new tenant. While I'm sure the staff have every good intention of keeping you happy, I've found that they do not enforce their own rules. The building I'm in has loud music playing - not long enough to track - but enough to disturb. I'm on the ground level, the music is on the 2nd or 3rd level, at a volume that shakes the walls.
Dogs are not on leases and tenants allow them to run, especially at night, to deficate whereever they choose - the owners are not even with them never mind picking up after them. The tenant guide clearly states the rules for pet owners - but noone seems to follow them. I came home late from work one night, opened my car door and there was a dog in my face. I had to close the door.
The tenant handbook states the rules about garbage and trash on the patios, especially the ones facing the roads for prospective tenants to see. However, there are some that have flattened boxes, trash, and rotting pumpkins on them. Some have the storage doors unlocked and open.
All of this and more is unaccepable for a property owner. If you intend to rent, be sure you go through the apartment thoroughly. Check that everything works. Ask about the neighbors, and thier hours. Rent at your own risk.
